OpenConsultant · Draft specification 0.1.0

Test a domain

Enter a domain to see which consultants and assignments it publishes, and whether the files follow the standards.

Or try a domain that publishes:

What the test does

It reads /openconsultant.json and /openassignment.json from the domain, and then every document those files list. Each file is checked against the published schemas, and each document is compared with its entry in the list.

The test runs in your browser and reads the files the way any other website would. Testing sends nothing to us and stores nothing. If you add the domain to the directory, we store the domain name and how many consultants and open assignments it lists.

A browser only reads files that are served with Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *. A file without that header cannot be read here or by other services that run in a browser, even though a service that fetches it from its own server still can: see Serving the files.
